Cushion Air-Glide Suspension

The Cushion Air-Glide suspension on all Roadmaster Chassis incorporates a simple design with few moving parts. The Roadmaster system enables the left and right sides of the suspension to operate independently of one another. In effect, you get the benefits of independent suspension without the complexity, cost, and higher maintenance associated with conventional Independent Front Suspension.

Outboard-Mounted Air Bags
|
|
Outboard-mounted air bags are placed approximately 7-1/2 feet apart on most models, providing a wider and more stable platform for your coach. The active suspension automatically adjusts the pressure of the air bags as you drive and virtually eliminates nose-diving and the side-to-side body sway associated with high wind conditions, curvy roads and emergency maneuvers.

Power Steering Box
|

The power steering box on all Roadmaster chassis provides a 50-degree front wheel turn angle in both directions for better maneuverability. The steering design also returns the steering wheel back to its center position to eliminate driver fatigue.

Rear Axle Tilt & Three Point Engine Mounting System

To help eliminate vibration and deliver smoother shifting, Roadmaster employs a unique rear axle tilt and three point engine mounting system that perfectly aligns the entire drive train and reduces stress and noise.
